Extra Curricular Activities

At Kids 'R' Kids we provide many "extra-curricular" activities.  There is something for every interest; and with our all inclusive programs, most are included with tuition!

Health and Fitness - Recent studies show that our society, through the comforts of technology and fast food, enables childhood obesity, which has reached epidemic proportions. Kids ‘R’ Kids knows how important physical activity is to any child’s development, and that’s why our centers include many opportunities for children to excercise and develop healthy habits. 

• Flippers- Provided by GYM STATION- Is an all-inclusive preschool fitness program that is designed for your child's age and ability. Using a wide variety of equipment such as bars, beams, and vault, the coaches highlight your little athlete's skills by incorporating various music, shapes, and visual aids. Each week brings a new and exciting curriculum to encourage your child's physical ability. Most importantly, FLIPPERS is a non-competitive program that will challenge, excite, and reward your child. This program is included for ages 18months-Pre-K; no additional charge to participate.
• Xtreme Fitness- Provided by GYM STATION- Brings a new healthy approach to helping school age students stay fit. A unique combination of lessons, activities, and rewards makes fitness fun for kids of all ages! This program is inculded for our school-age children; no additional charge to participate.
• Dance - Dancing helps even the youngest child express himself with music and movement. Kids love to perform and express themselves as they gain a great sense of accomplishment while doing so. Our daily curriculum includes music and movement throughout each day; no additional charge to participate.

• Martial Arts - The principles of the ancient art teach self-discipline and physical prowess. Through martial arts, children learn to respect others and regulate their own actions. We partner with CYPRESS TAE KWON DO to offer an opportunity for children to participate in an enrichment class on Wednesdays.

Foreign Language - There’s no better time to learn another language than during the early childhood years. In fact, a child’s brain is designed to learn multiple languages. Many of our teachers speak multiple languages and teach your child the many values of diversity and communication.

Music - Music is an incredible tool used for brain development. Our music program, provided by OPUS ONE MUSIC, exposes children to a variety of musical styles, cultures, and techniques, awakening their inner abilities. Children have the opportunity to play instruments and engage in singing exercises every Thursday with no additional charge to participate.

Computers - Knowing that our future continues to involve the technology of computers, Kids 'R' Kids understands the importance of providing your child with the latest in electronic lessons and games to support the educational themes taught in school. We have an Enrichment Room with computers and a listening center for the children to visit several times each week.
